These work pictures are a sampling of what’s been occupying nearly every minute of my time over the last two months.

The King Valley fire.

The Brush Creek fire near Rangley Colorado 7/25/12.

A hideous thistle.

This is a good time to chop the head of this plant off and throw it in the garbage.

A mass grave for thistles in Horse Gulch.

Hotline production on the Allison 2 fire.

A lull in fire behavior on the KJ Fire. A fun fire with some challenging hotline through thick smoke in rocky terrain on the rim of a canyon.
