Mariana’s Authentic Cuisine is a quick stop for some fresh authentic Asian cuisine with no msg. If you enjoy stir fried foods without the hype and seating of a traditional restaurant, I’d recommend you try this place.

It’s right next to 6th Street Liquor in the big yellow trailer.

Check out the menu for Mariana’s Authentic Cuisine here: Mariana’s Authentic Cuisine menu.

Marianah Hidayat runs the place, and she takes call in orders at (970) 426-8912. It’s open every day except Tuesdays and Sundays  from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. On Fridays and Saturdays they’re open from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Mariana made me the Bah Mee, an Indonesian noodle dish with egg noodles, with ground meat, Nappa cabbage and green onion. It tasted fantastic and she gave me a huge serving. She added cilantro and Sriracha hot sauce. My only gripe was the excessive water-based seasoning that she put on it, which partially leaked out onto my lap shortly after taking my seat to dig in.

Bah Mee was delicious, and I’d recommend Mariana’s Authentic Cuisine to anyone looking for a quick place to get lunch or dinner in Durango.
