All trails in the Hermosa Creek Watershed Management Area would be closed to mechanized and motorized use from December through April if a new Decision Notice signed by the Forest Supervisor is finalized.

Big Bend BridgeAn objection period to the seasonal closure is underway until Oct. 24th.

Alternative 2 was chosen by the San Juan National Forest Supervisor Kara Chadwick.

  1. Thank goodness that Big Lick and Stagecoach have been saved!!
Thanks for your work in support of that.

  2. You are welcome. 🙂

Both of those trails need some serious maintenance. Hope they let me help out with clearing the dead trees off of Stagecoach.
